I know you only through the emails that you and I have communicated over the last month however I will tell you this. Over the last 24 months Slip Doctor has been in business I have only had people ask me what the difference was between Posigrip and Slip Doctors. I have never had anyone endorse their program which we tells me that most can see the difference but feel compelled to ask anyway.
This year were likely to roll out a series of nano technology products which leaps past the whole “Green” debacle strait to organic and the manipulation of molecules. Again, innovative and ahead of the pack in light years while leaving zero emissions.
Despite what Dr Slip says and I dont want to discuss their basic knowledge of chemistry, however our product is proven safe globally and thats proven by the number of countries were in some of which are much more stringent in their evaluation of our VOC levels, which are 0.5% and considered green in the most ambitious states and countries. Our solutions are all concentrated which is very expensive to manufacture, but we ship you product and not water leaving a baby print regarding carbon emission and the transport of our quality products.
Our work began in hospitals, daycares etc while patients and customers are present. The free sample we gave you and millions of other people over the years is user friendly and works every time, because its specifically manufactured for that purpose.
Most of what you see is plagiarized from our materials,and although that may qualify as flattery to some, we expect that if your going to build your business on that platform, you should keep up to date on the technical part of the plagiarism and not use outdated ADA, OSHA and Federal statutes. This becomes very important when dealing with Fortune 1000 companies who depend on your measurements and expertise in this field.
In 1991 when Posigrip started and over the years many companies like Slip Doctor have come and gone. Like many companies we have seen before them, they dont seem to understand the concept of independent ownership and the protection that each operator deserves after he becomes part of a team.
You speak of recession and problems you faced with your current franchise. Well, in the 25 years we have been in business ( Ceiltech launched 1986, another industry we created) we have seen 4 recessions and a depression. We are still here and going strong, completing corporate contracts for 1000 Powerhouse Gym locations and getting ready to start another (free to our operators) while adding more than 100 operators this year in 16 countries. Posigrip does not sell our products retail and will only sell to authorized Posigrip operators. Never to the customers your trying to market to.
I understand that for 5 or 6k you will get enough product to treat about 20,000 square feet, so its easy to compare as you did.
Posigrip we start you off with enough product to treat about 200,000 sq ft..
looking at their published prices you would have to spend about $40,000 with them to equal 200,000 square feet and that a lot of water and a lot of shipping costs. Their product comes in a gallon form which weighs about 45 pounds per case and is bulky to transport, and leaves a tremendous carbon footprint when transporting and maybe thats why they said they have a great relationship with their shipper. I imagine they do. Shipping cost is not getting cheaper and in this case about an extra $30 per case as compared to Posigrip which comes in quarts 6 to a case or about 12 pounds or $14.
Marketing with them is marginal it appears you will have to spend an extra $2,500 with them for a phone appointment, something you can do yourself or hire a professional much more qualified than the folks that will be making your appointment. Didnt you tell me that the slip dr owner in Ohio said he did’nt get 1 single appointment? Did he get refunded the $2500? I feel terrible that hes not doing well because he wanted to be part of our team but we have someone there already. You can call and ask him and tell him for me if he moves to Columbus I can use an owner there. But all that aside, here is where it really becomes important to you the buyer.
Were original.
Were innovative.
We are not 1 faceted.
We can treat ceilings, walls, floors and do all of this without costing a penny to the commercial account. How do we do this? Thats why theres 2000 of us and 10 of them.
Linoleum, wood, hardwood acrylic are homeowners products that he sells directly to and he can have the residential business. He doesn’t try to compete on the commercial end he sells mainly to a homeowner but has found a few folks that didnt know any better. If I thought that there was a market for that with our large corporate accounts, then Im sure we would have invented that too. Those materials are not common in a setting like the ones were used to and if there is, its much too much of a headache to deal with, however they wouldnt know that because they havent been working on accounts like Disney for the last 20 years. Do they have a successful service end of the business?
We do. We have one for both the Ceiling and wall restoration and the slip resistance businesses.
Posiseal concrete and grout sealer, will seal concrete and purge oil stains from a driveway that have been there for 20 years. It now accounts for 30% of our reorder business. As great as that product performs we have improved it with our nano sealers that we are rolling out.
PosiGreen, a full line of after care products (60). This is all part of your package’ Posichem, day to day products that are used in the restaurant and hospitality industry <a href=”http://www.posichem.net/”>www.posichem.net</a> and are superior to the products they currently use in those industries at about 70% less than what they are paying. Again, all part of your package. Ceiltech, <a href=”http://www.ceiltech.net/”>www.ceiltech.net</a> ceiling and wall restoration that adds another dimension and more arsenal to the floor business. The customers that you target are the same in both Posigrip and Ceiltech so you will always be assured to leave the customer with either floor, wall or ceiling work.
These are niche industries that have a viable purpose. Kitchen ceilings have to be cleaned. Floors and tubs must be slip resistant to protect the customers and employees. But having great products is not enough to get business and so we contract corporate accounts and give these accounts to our operators because our $$ is made from the re-order of product and not the initial package. Remember we give you enough product to treat 200,000 sq ft. before you ever have to reorder.
Account introductions are for Fortune 500 companies that we already have done work for and provided us with written testimonials. You receive 5-10 per week, every week for as long as you want them. Again, no charge. Random leads are generated for the operators from print and electronic advertising and are given to the closest operator.
We fly you in and provide a hotel for training and we pay for it. This is part of the package because you will be trained by operators who do this for a living and not some guy in a suit. They come from out of the field to train you 1 on 1. Successful operators.
The postcards that you mention are part of what you will do and when you leave training you will have 1000 postcards and 1000 labels targeting our primary targets. All we want you to do is affix those labels to the postcards and drop in a mailbox because when you do, that you will start to get calls and go out on estimates. The whole program is designed for you to hit the ground running and start making both of us money. 24 hour support since 1987 and an infrastructure of more than 1900 operators in 66 countries on 6 continents. This infrastructure generates more corporate work for the other operators and that how we get a lot of the large scale work. All, no charge.
Low entry to Posigrip, low cost of product and many streams of revenue makes for a company with vision and not a company who waits for someone to come up with an idea so they can try and steal it or try and compete with it.
The 8 owners on the other guys website were either rejected by Posigrip for reasons like a Posigrip operator already in that location OHIO or they never fully investigated us, or saw us at all. Let me know what I can do for you and we will probably be able to put something together.
